As an educator, Adam has spent the better part of the past twenty years working throughout Canada and internationally, most recently for six years in the Canadian high Arctic. The Moons of Ukiuq is his second novel.
Adam is an alumnus of several advanced fiction writers workshops, including two by the Iowa Writers' Workshop. He studied Mandarin intensively for two years at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, as well as French for one year through Commission Scolaire de Montréal. He also knows like 20 words in Spanish.
Adam's main genre of writing is literary fiction, though he also writes travel literature, educational content for social media, poetry and translation.
