Tent Rings

These distinctive stone rings are scattered all across the Inuit lands. There are thousands upon thousands. Each one once anchored a skin tent. The rings are often found near strategic hunting areas. They can date back over a thousand years, to when the first Inuit arrived in what is now the Canadian Arctic.
